Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, I accept United Healthcare, Anthem, Medicare, and Medicare Advantage from private insurers. Please note that Medicare Part B only covers visits for renal disease (not on dialysis) and diabetes. I'm also in the process of credentialing with United Healthcare. For those without coverage, my self-pay rates are $150 for an initial 60-minute appointment and $75-$150 for follow-ups. I recommend verifying your coverage before your first appointment.
What if I don’t live in Indiana?
Each state has specific licensure requirements to allow a Registered Dietitian to practice. I am thrilled to offer counseling services to residents of Indiana or those living in states without dietitian licensure requirements. We can discuss this further if you aren’t sure if your state requires licensure.
How are your services provided?
Currently, my services are virtual and conveniently delivered through an in-app audio-video platform, ensuring seamless and effective communication during our time together.
Do you offer meal planning services?
Yes, I offer specialized services that include personalized meal planning. Please note that these services are non-billable to insurance and will require out-of-pocket payment. For more information and to discuss how meal planning can support your goals, feel free to reach out to me directly!
What is your cancellation policy?
Please remember to cancel or reschedule 24 hours in advance. You will be responsible for the entire session fee if cancellation is less than 24 hours.
